Adhesive wound dressing Cosmopor advance №1

Cosmopor Advance dressing is a self-adhesive wound dressing (based on a patch), with a super-absorbent pad that has a very high sorption capacity, which prevents moisture in the wound. It is used to care for wounds with minor injuries, and also as a fixing agent for exuding wounds over medical dressings.

Indications for use

The dressing is intended for closing wounds with minor skin injuries, for closing exuding wounds (with a large amount of wound discharge), and for fixing medical dressings.

Characteristics

·       has a thick pad with very high absorbency

·       self-adhesive base of the dressing is made of soft non-woven material, provides reliable fixation of the dressing

·       polyethylene micro-mesh, in contact with the wound itself, prevents adhesion to it, therefore it is removed painlessly and without residue

·       the dressing is flexible, easy to model even on wounds with a complex configuration (face, hands)

·       wound exudate containing bacteria is absorbed and securely held by the absorbent pad
