The Omron PFM-20 Peak Flow Meter is designed to evaluate breathing and determine peak expiratory flow, displaying the results on an easy-to-read, multi-colored scale.
For convenience, the scale is divided into 3 zones, each of which is painted in its own bright color:
The green zone (working capacity 80 - 100%) - the normal state of the lungs. Treatment has a positive effect.
Yellow zone (operability 50 - 80%) - be careful and consult a doctor for advice.
Red zone (working capacity less than 50%) - the condition of the lungs inspires concern. The treatment has no effect. You must immediately consult a doctor.
The average life of the device is two years.
It is very important to keep the Omron PFM-20 clean during use. The appliance should be cleaned at least once every six months, and this should be done especially carefully if it has not been used for some time.
