Hartmann Branolind N bandage ointment mesh

Branolind N is an atraumatic bandage made of large-mesh cotton fabric impregnated with anhydrous ointment mass with Peruvian balm.

Due to the grid structure, good permeability for air and wound secretion is provided.

Hydrophobic ointment base reduces adhesion of the bandage to the wound and traumatization of the granulation tissue in the bandage. In this case Peruvian balsam, which is a part of the ointment mass, combined with antiseptic action, has a stimulating effect on the growth of the granulation and the epithelium formation.

The bandage is plastic, easily modeled even on wounds with complex configuration (face, brushes). Changing the bandage is painless.

Indications: 

·       Abrasions, thermal and chemical burns, pressure sores, trophic and diabetic ulcers, lacerated and scalped wounds, donor wounds; fixation of split skin grafts, furuncles, carbuncles, abscesses, cuts and other poorly healing wounds.
